TableMatch Community Host Agreement

Please review this Agreement before posting or hosting a Community Hosted table through HeyMahjong TableMatch.
This TableMatch Community Host Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Yeenova LLC dba HeyMahjong (“HeyMahjong”) and the individual creating or hosting a Community Hosted table through TableMatch (“Host”).
Community Hosted tables are independently organized by Community Hosts. HeyMahjong provides TableMatch as a service to help Mahjong players and hosts discover and connect with one another. A Community Hosted table is not a Mahjong Academy class or an event organized, operated, or supervised by HeyMahjong.
1. Community Hosted Tables
By creating a Community Hosted table, I understand that I am independently organizing and hosting the gathering.
HeyMahjong provides the TableMatch platform to help me connect with people who may be interested in joining my table.
I am not an employee, contractor, agent, representative, partner, or volunteer of HeyMahjong or Mahjong Academy merely because I use TableMatch or host a Community Hosted table.
I do not have authority to make commitments, representations, or promises on behalf of HeyMahjong or Mahjong Academy.
2. Age Requirement
I represent that I am at least 18 years old.
Community Hosted TableMatch tables are currently limited to hosts and participants who are at least 18 years old.
3. Authority to Host
I represent that I am the property owner, authorized occupant, or otherwise have permission to hold the gathering at the location I provide.
If the location is subject to rules imposed by a landlord, homeowners association, property manager, venue operator, or other third party, I am responsible for determining whether the gathering is permitted.
I am responsible for complying with applicable laws and reasonable property or venue requirements relating to my gathering.
4. The Premises and House Rules
I am responsible for the premises where I choose to host my Community Hosted table.
I agree to use reasonable care regarding conditions at the premises and to communicate known conditions that could reasonably affect participants’ safe access to or use of the gathering area.
I may establish reasonable house or venue rules for my gathering, provided those rules are consistent with the HeyMahjong Community Guidelines.
If pets or other animals are present at the premises, I am responsible for managing them appropriately and taking reasonable precautions for the safety and comfort of participants.
I remain responsible for my home, venue, and personal property and for maintaining any homeowners, renters, property, liability, or other insurance I consider appropriate.
5. Participants and Invitations
TableMatch may help introduce prospective participants to me, but I remain responsible for deciding whom I am comfortable inviting to my gathering and premises.
I understand that HeyMahjong does not guarantee the identity, background, conduct, reliability, compatibility, attendance, or safety of any TableMatch user unless expressly stated otherwise.
A person’s ability to use TableMatch or request a seat does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, background check, or guarantee by HeyMahjong.
I may decline a seat request or ask a participant to leave my premises when I reasonably determine that doing so is appropriate, subject to applicable law and HeyMahjong policies.
6. Listing Information, Privacy, and Addresses
I agree to provide materially accurate information about my Community Hosted table, including its date or anticipated date, general location, experience level, available seats, and other information requested by TableMatch.
I agree not to intentionally create misleading or deceptive listings.
I understand that HeyMahjong may limit public display of exact residential addresses and other private information.
I will use reasonable judgment when sharing my exact address, gate codes, access instructions, or other private location information with participants.
I understand that participants are also required under the HeyMahjong Community Guidelines to respect private addresses and access information.
7. Free Community Play
Community Hosted TableMatch tables are currently intended for free community play.
I will not require participants to pay an admission fee, hosting fee, participation fee, or other mandatory charge in connection with a Community Hosted table unless HeyMahjong expressly introduces or authorizes a separate paid-hosting program.
I will not represent my Community Hosted table as a HeyMahjong-sponsored event, Mahjong Academy class, or other event operated by HeyMahjong.
8. Voluntary Hosting and Assumption of Risk
I understand that hosting an in-person gathering involving people discovered through a community platform involves ordinary and reasonably foreseeable risks associated with meeting and interacting with other people and inviting them to a private residence or other venue.
I voluntarily choose to use TableMatch and to host my Community Hosted gathering.
I am responsible for deciding whether hosting a particular gathering, inviting a particular participant, or using a particular location is appropriate for me.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I knowingly and voluntarily assume the ordinary and reasonably foreseeable risks associated with independently hosting my Community Hosted gathering.
9. Release and Allocation of Responsibility — Please Read Carefully
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY CALIFORNIA LAW, I RELEASE AND DISCHARGE YEENOVA LLC DBA HEYMAHJONG, AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS, FROM CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO MY VOLUNTARY USE OF TABLEMATCH AND MY INDEPENDENT HOSTING OF A COMMUNITY HOSTED GATHERING, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY RISKS OF HOSTING OR INTERACTING WITH OTHER TABLEMATCH USERS.
THIS RELEASE INCLUDES CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF A RELEASED PARTY TO THE EXTENT SUCH CLAIMS MAY LAWFULLY BE RELEASED.
This release does not apply to gross negligence, reckless or intentional misconduct, or liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
I remain responsible, to the extent provided by applicable law, for my own acts and omissions and for conditions of premises within my responsibility or control.
10. Participant Conduct and Property
Participants are responsible for their own conduct and may be responsible for injury or property damage they cause.
HeyMahjong is not the Host’s property insurer and does not guarantee against theft, loss, property damage, personal injury, misconduct, or other acts of Community Hosted table participants.
If a dispute arises directly between me and another community member regarding conduct, property, or another matter arising from the independently hosted gathering, I understand that HeyMahjong is not obligated to resolve or mediate that private dispute.
Nothing in this section prevents me from reporting serious misconduct or safety concerns to HeyMahjong.
11. Alcohol, Gambling, and Illegal Activity
I am responsible for complying with applicable laws and venue requirements relating to my gathering.
If I choose to permit alcohol at my independently hosted gathering, I am responsible for establishing appropriate rules and complying with applicable laws.
Community Hosted tables listed through TableMatch may not require real-money wagering, gambling, or betting as a condition of participation.
Illegal activity, illegal drugs, and conduct creating an unreasonable risk to others are prohibited in connection with TableMatch.
12. Emergencies and Safety Incidents
In an emergency or when there is an immediate threat to personal safety, I will contact the appropriate emergency services first.
I understand that HeyMahjong is not an emergency response service.
Serious misconduct, safety incidents, privacy concerns, or violations of the HeyMahjong Community Guidelines may also be reported to:
13. Community Guidelines
I agree to comply with the HeyMahjong Community Guidelines.
The Community Guidelines apply in addition to this Agreement and establish standards for conduct, privacy, safety, and appropriate use of TableMatch.
HeyMahjong may remove a listing, restrict access, suspend participation, or take other reasonable platform actions when this Agreement, the Community Guidelines, or other applicable terms are violated.
14. No Guarantee of Results
HeyMahjong does not guarantee that my listing will receive seat requests, that my table will fill, that a participant will attend, or that participants will be compatible with me or one another.
I understand that TableMatch is a community connection service and that results will vary.
15. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
16. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND UNDERSTAND THAT COMMUNITY HOSTED TABLES ARE INDEPENDENTLY ORGANIZED GATHERINGS AND ARE NOT EVENTS ORGANIZED, OPERATED, OR SUPERVISED BY HEYMAHJONG OR MAHJONG ACADEMY.
I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS AN ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND THAT, BY ACCEPTING IT, I MAY BE GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.
Electronic Acceptance
☐ I have read and understand the TableMatch Community Host Agreement and voluntarily agree to its terms, including the Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability, Version 1.0, dated August 14, 2026.
I also agree to the HeyMahjong Community Guidelines.
